What was said

offer one of which was Georgie. One of my favourite passages is John T. Jesus' first sign in John's Gospel, he goes to this wedding and they were all having a great time and then some of the people organising the wedding quietly realise that they're running out of wine. It's a big deal, they've run out of wine, it's like they've made a big arrow here. In that culture where there would have been some shame around that Mary steps in and say come on Jesus, do something about this. I love her kind of approach to Jesus, she could see that the family would be brought to shame and she knows who Jesus is and she's probably thinking Jesus, do something. Jesus saying like what does this have to do with me? Jesus says you know, my hour is not yet come. You're kind of like okay what's he going to do here? But still after a response his mum Mary goes to servants and tells me servants to do whatever Jesus says. Then Jesus speaks to the servants and he's like these are water jugs. Six massive water jugs of sort of a hundred or so litres each. Fill them up, just fill them up, drive them to the brim. You can imagine they're probably like what? He didn't say fill it to the you know half way or to just the top. He said to the brim and I can just imagine these big pots, yeah really, just even tippling over. He turns this water into some wonderful top quality like Chatonov de Pat wine. He wills the wine into existence, he doesn't touch it, he doesn't say anything, it literally happens. The servants, they were probably thinking this is wild and being asked to serve water to the guests. They were probably thinking what will it come out of here? A master of the banquet tries it and he's like whoa, you guys haven't even bought out the cheap wine at the end of the evening, you've bought amazing quality wine. You can imagine his expression, he's the best wine he's ever tasted. Like picture yourself at a party, Europe preys, you start with the Prosecco, you start like you're going bougie, you start with the high end and then you go down to the cheap. In fact, they were celebrated for being the people who brought out the choice wine last, I said here's even more of the best stuff. No one knows where the wine comes from, all these conversations happen in secret. When he did it in such a humble and graceful way that it's not kind of drawing attention to himself, the master of the banquet didn't even know who did it.
